Square One Basics of Pistol
SQUARE ONE BASICS OF PISTOL is a short class based on students’ needs to properly handle pistols. Our students are primarily new gun owners, short experience or experienced but need a refresher on their firearm information.

Classes available Monday-Sunday, 8am-11am
We will be discussing:
-Mechanics of Semi-automatic pistols and revolvers
-Safety basics of firearms
-Types of ammunition
-Proper handling of pistols
-Loading and unloading of handguns
-Proper sight alignment
-Proper firing position and usage of firearm.
-Failures that may occur during firing and how to correct these failures.
-Breakdown of firearms for maintenance and storage.
-Safe ways to store and handle firearms
-Basic rules of ranges
*SQUARE ONE Basics of Pistol class is between 2-3 hours long
*IET will provide handguns for demonstration but we recommend our students to bring their own unloaded pistols.
License to Carry
This course consists of the new LTC permit course based on the Texas Department of Public Safety requirements and standards. After the completion of the class, we will provide information and assist you on the LTC application. This class is not intended to train students how to shoot a handgun, please take a Basic Pistol Training course if you are not comfortable in handling a gun.
Private Group Class (minimum of 4) – $85 * Range Time Included
Public Class – $70 * Range Time Included
Includes:
-Four hours in-class training
-One-hour Range time (qualification)
Requirements:
-Handgun
-50 rounds handgun ammunition (No reloaded, Hand loaded or Surplus Ammunition)
-Eye Protection
-Ear Protection

FFL TRANSFERS
FFL Transfer- If you are buying firearms online and need it to transfer to us, please follow this procedure:
Transfers – $20
Requirements:
-Majority of online stores have our FFL information, you can select IRON EDGE TACTICAL as your FFL during check out.
-Completed the sale online.
-Contact us for our FFL information if needed.
-Valid TX Identification
-Buyer must be present in order to pick up firearms sent to us.
